I’ve Decided

Two things:

First, that I want a scanner. My decision has been made. Doesn’t mean I’ll be gettin’ one any time soon, but it’s now scribbled onto the list of “One day I want…” Yep, it’s right in there among the new mattress, closet organization supplies, larger desk, Matt Damon, and a car.

I’m thinking out of all that, a scanner’s ranking third right about now as a real possibility.

Why do I want one? So I can add doodles to my posts. Huzzah! A future of more nothing-really-worthwhile-ness! Don’t you just get tingly all over? Also, I want to unveil the beautiful drawings Middle Sister did for my manuscript TENTUK. The clothes inspired her, of all things, so they’re more fashion sketches than character sketches, but I absolutely love them. I can’t explain how totally wonderful it is to see something like that come to life. I thought I still had them downloaded into my computer, but apparently that’s the old desktop that’s still sitting in my parents’ house. I’ll probably end up at Kinko’s fairly soon here, but I still want a scanner.

Second, I suck at titles. When I write a post, what do I spend the most time agonizing over? Yep. I have the same trouble with my manuscripts, too. They usually end up titled with a character’s name or after a plot point. So forgive my titles from here on out, please. Consider them all “working”. ;)
