The Fact or Fiction Game will continue soon, so do not despair! I know it’s been keeping you up at night, haunting your thoughts, slipping into your daily consciousness and all that, but alas! alack! and heavens to betsy, it will begin again!

Ten Rants: Indulgences I really don’t need, but can’t let go.
1. Rice Krispie Treats. I’m going to warn you right here and now that a lot of these are going to be food. I like to eat.
2. Arnold Schwarzenegger Action Flicks. Yes, yes, I know. But I’m a sucker for special effects and cheesy one-liners. My reaction to movies like True Lies, Total Recall, and The Terminator? Go “Guv’nuh”!
3. Rocky Road Ice Cream. Chocolate, almonds, marshmallows, and about a gazillion grams of fat? Quick–where’s my spoon?
4. Dirty Jobs with Mike Rowe on the Discovery channel. The host is an unmistakeably male, hands-on, not-afraid-to-get-very-dirty guy who also happens to be a former opera singer with a good sense of humor. And he can quote Shakespeare. Be still, my heart…
5. Office Supplies. I know I don’t need any more (I don’t even know what to do with everything I already have), but put me within ten feet of spiral notebooks, desktop organizers, and ballpoint pens, and I’m one happy girl!
6. Bubble Baths. Especially with the Moonlight Path products from Bath & Body Works. Heaven!
7. Going Barefoot. Whether it’s at home, outside, or even in the office, I like to kick of the heels and wiggle the toes.
8. Ranger Cookies. I have to make these only for special occasions because I can very easily make myself sick by eating way too many. Don’t believe me? Just take a peek at my hips. They’ll never lie to you. (But no raisins… Blech!)
9. Old Romantic Comedies. Some of my favorites are Sabrina (“Straight through to the garage, please”), The Shop Around the Corner, It Happened One Night, Arsenic and Old Lace (“Charge!”), and An Affair to Remember, though I could go on and on.
10. Books, Books, and More Books. Though I don’t feel guilty about this particular pleasure, even if it does threaten my ability to buy groceries from time to time.
